I just can't, I just can't, I just can't control my feet! A sharp breeze sprang up, seemingly from nowhere, and caught Rose Throne in its tumbling grasp. She wasn't very muscular, but was rather built in the perfect way for showing off beauty - something a harsh wind was not helping with! Huffing frustratedly, the she-wolf righted herself, white fur blowing all the wrong ways, and looked up to the sky in something like annoyance. Not that such a cheerful wolf could ever really feel that strange thing called 'annoyance' or 'frustration'. The purple hairs overlaying on her tail, face and higher legs were longer than the white, giving her a layered look that she often liked; but still Rose wore a pink flower, tied in expertly to the fur of her left ear, to give herself that extra edge on the males.
The moon was bright, she saw, with her bright blue eyes raised to the sky, and shone down an eerie light on her and her surroundings; the many blades of grass around her paws were tinted blue with the beautiful light of it, and though it was like this pretty much every night, the she-wolf felt herself gasp at the sight of it - she had never paid much attention to nature before. And then the wind sprang up again, harder and swifter than before, tugging the flower right out from behind her ear - yelping dramatically, she leapt after it, crying her displeasure to the sky. A single grey cloud drifted slowly towards the moon, and the warm summer night became slightly cooler in its wake. Completely forgetting about both the beauty of the lunar light, and of the invisible sibling on the other end of her Connection - who she wasn't to know was rolling her eyes having caught thought of what the Royal Rose Throne was thinking, and trying to get back to sleep - the white and violet wolf chased after the single flower, eyes bright, often leaping to catch it and missing by what she conceived to be inches, and was actually closer to feet.
The wind dropped abruptly, sending the flower floating down to earth to land at the dark paws of another, grander, wolf. Rose Throne did not see who it was until she ran right into the unfortunate other, squinting eyes still trying to locate the accessory that was no longer in the sky. "Oh, hi there!" she squeaked at once, still not looking down. "Could you, like, maybe help me, like, find my, y'know, flower? That silly wind took it, like, right off the top of my head! Auch!" You idiot, that's your Alpha! came her Rebel Twin's voice. The she-wolf stopped her chatter abruptly. "Oh."

Why hello there. I am currently walking. You're drinking? That's nice. Well, time to tune out. Moon smiled a wolfish smile and padded around the fields, humming softly as a gentle breeze blew in her face, ruffling her fur. Moon lifted her head, taking a big sniff of the air around her. She smelled Rose Throne. Again? This specific wolf was a bit crazy. She rolled her eyes and thought of what she was earlier this morning, watching a pup mother moon over her pups. It made Moon want to have pups. But she wouldn't now. She shook the thought away and trotted near the direction of Rose, "Do I smell the Throne of the Rose?" She said slowly. She always thought that Rose Throne was a bit...Odd. Moon looked at Rose's eyes. And her posture. The air of this wolf was different than the wolves she usually saw. This wolf never saw the darkness.. Only the light. In a very very strange way. Moon frowned for a moment, but realized that Rose might take this a bit offensively, so she put on a little smile, "I didn't see you this morning...Were you working?" It was odd for Moon to be so social with the wolves in the pack. It made her uncomfortable, the way so many of them looked at her. Moon knew sitting down made all wolves comfortable with her, but she couldn't bring herself to seat her rump on the soft ground, so Moon just relaxed her tail a bit. It wasn't as stick-like. A bit. It might have been just a little stiff. Oh well. Rose Throne wouldn't notice.

{OOC: Okay, idiot me has accidentally - somehow - replaced the first post with this one, and I don't know how. I have no record of the other post, so I'm afraid it's just going to have to stay like that =P Thanks for your patience, I might be able to fix it. Moon's dark eyes surveyed Rose Throne's attitude. Much too bubbly. Couldn't she just be.....Different? No, she might start acting even more odd than she already was. Rose Throne needed the fact that there was a war going on put in her head. She was much too naive! Moon blinked herself back into the current time when Rose Throne asked a simple question about a flower. What did she mean? Was it a real flower? Was it just one of Rose Throne's daydreams? Moon frowned at the she wolf, she had business to attend to. Very soon. As long as she fit in some hunting she would be good. The Pup Mothers were looking pretty hungry. The pack was having a bit of trouble hunting for some reason. There was something scaring off some of the prey. And Moon would put a stop to it. But she could only keep them alive with food in their bellies.
"I will be hunting, but I will keep watch for this flower of yours." An idea suddenly struck Moon, "Can you hunt with me? We can help the pack, while also looking for your...Flower." Moon said it slowly, but she was taking a big chance. She wasn't too sure Rose Throne knew the meaning of hunting for the Royals. Moon looked at Rose Throne again and sighed. She spied a stray bird flying. If only her useless wings worked, then she could fly up there and pluck it from the air.

I just can't, I just can't, I just can't control my feet!Blinking in confusion for a moment, it didn't take the Royal long to recover from her momentary shock. Her maw stretching into a half-grin, she spoke in bold excitement, seeming only to catch on to half of what the other had said. "Gee, thanks, that'd be great if you could help me do that! Wait, so, what's your name again? I'm Rose - Rose Throne, not Thorn, mind you! My twin's Rose Thorn, though, the Rebel wolf. You know her? Oh, of course you don't, your a Royal too, ha-ha!" She spoke without waiting for a reply, happily chatting as she stood, her slight frame barely taller than her large alpha was laying down - then something seemed to hit her. "W-wait a minute, you mean... Hunting? Sure, I can do that... Yeah... Not very good at it, y'know, though? But, like, I'd be... Glad... To help... Sure..." Ick. Hunting = blood, and blood = messy fur, messy fur + blood = gross! Another dark chuckle from her twin.
Rose Throne was not a particularly bad wolf, as such; she just didn't really other wolves. And shrugging responsibility was not done to avoid danger or work - usually she was just afraid she was doing it wrong, but it always seemed to reflect negatively on her when something went awry... And so, she began to try and look for an excuse. Staring around wildly(in a rather blatant manner, one might note), the she-wolf's search for her flower or another way out became more frantic. "I... Umm... Oh! There it is! Silly me!" And she turned around and picked up the first flower she spotted - some kind of large, yellow daisy - treading on her actual flower as she did so. "Oh, well, there we go, situation over... Found my flower..." She's still going to make you hunt, you know.
Then, following her Alpha's gaze, she made one last, desperate attempt to change the subject. "Ooh, what'cha lookin' at? The moon? The moon's well pretty, innit. I think we've got a wolf in our pack called Moon..." She felt Rose Thorn's eye-roll.

As soon as Rose Throne replied, Moon didn't want to hunt with her. She would only cause Moon to catch less, not more. Moon raised a wolfish eyebrow as Rose Throne blabbered about flowers and stopping for a few moments, probably listening to her twin. "Rose Throne? Is she some member in your pack? If wolves were that stupid, I could be Beta." Moon frowned at what Lunar said, and simply replied, "She's.....creative." And then Moon heard Lunar howling in laughter, going on for such a long time in her mind. Moon then looked at Rose Throne pick up the flower and talking about the moon. About remembering a member in the pack named Moon. Wow, this wolf was naive!
"Rose Throne, I am Moon." And on came Lunar's laughter yet again. Stupid mind connection. "Oh, stop that." Moon grumbled in her mind to Lunar. That only made her laugh more. The endless torture Moon had to endure, inside and out of her mind. Moon eyed Rose Throne, "Have you considered something you would like to do? Hunt? Gather? Fight?" Moon personally thought that Rose Throne was not fit for any of the jobs, but she didn't say anything after that. Rose Throne would proably stay an Omega for a long, long time.

I just can't, I just can't, I just can't control my feet!"Rose Throne, I amMoon." "Oh? Are you? How very nice. Umm... Oh, right Moon-moon, the, umm..." And, following the standard protocol for someone who has just realised they have made a fool of themselves in front of their Alpha, she made it worse, by bowing. Lowering her front end, head down so that the new flower - which had far too stubby a stem - fell out again, and waving her rump in the air, the she-wolf looked more like she was asking to play than instigating submission. She stayed down until her Alpha spoke again, at which point she grew bored of her position, and turned the action into a care-free stretch, switching her positions so that her rump was low to the ground, and her front-legs stretched up, head high in the air. "Have you considered something you would like to do? Hunt? Gather? Fight?" Trying to do things as logically as her twin would - for you see that Rose Throne was feeling rather foolish at the moment, and almost envied the Thorn, with her clever ways and sharp retorts - the white-furred, bushy-tailed female thought for a long, long moment. Or at least, tried to. Hunting. Again, she had the same, horrible dilemma - Hunting = blood, and blood = messy fur, messy fur + blood = gross! Fighting. Hmm... Fighting = blood, and blood = messy fur, messy fur + blood = gross! She was starting to see a pattern emerging here... Gathering. Well, wolves not being very herbivorous creatures as it was, the close-minded she-wolf was not too adept at the thought of gathering fruits or berries to feed the pack during the prey-less Winter months, so the only thought that came to her now was of gathering flowers in a field. She remembered doing it in a dream once; prancing around a beautiful field full of blood-red poppies and roses, and for reasons unknown to her, it was completely unoccupied. Rose had spent the entire night twitching in her sleep as her other-world self danced under the warm yellow sun, and birds sang in distant trees, and she gathered flowers, such beautiful things... And then another dream, where she had been on a gorgeous beach of fine sand and unique shells, and strange plants - and again, all night she had simply walked, and spun, and swam and gathered the peculiar yet beautiful cockles. She had been to neither of these places out of her dreams, and did not know whether or not they even existed, but she liked the ideas.
And all of this went through her head in a few short moments(which is quite a feat for one such as herself, you must agree), until she had her heart dead-certain set on the one career that it now seemed perfect for her to do. And, completely forgetting how only her twin shared her thoughts, and not strangers such as Moon, she spoke as though the whole process had been one long conversation between them. "That's it!" she squeaked brightly, leaping back up in absolute glee. "I'm going to be a Gatherer - I knew there had to be something I was good at!"

Moon was about to emit a growl at Rose Throne's short memory, but then she remembered, it was Rose Throne, not some wise medicine wolf. And already, after Moon's offer, Rose Throne was thinking. I didn't actually want her to consider it! Moon sighed, a very very faint sigh, though, and not just anyone would notice it. And then in a moment Rose Throne had seemed to declare her sudden urge to be a gatherer. Okay. She would just need to get her signed up..."There are some wolves who might be willing to instruct you in that topic. As a gatherer, you would also gather needed natural medicines the healers request." Moon thought about Rose Throne as a professional gatherer. The thought made her choke on her breath. Why was she even considering this? Because you need a useful pack. Lunar's voice abruptly interrupted Moon's train of thought. She forgot about the connection! If Lunar talked more then she would keep it in her head, but no, she just had to wait for the wrong moment. Moon's eyes scanned over Rose Throne. She probably would be able to smell things she was looking for easily, but all wolves were able to do that. Well, maybe Rose Throne would be a natural! Or a failure....

I just can't, I just can't, I just can't control my feet!A gatherer! The thought ran through her head time and time again. I'm going to be a gatherer! Moon was speaking again, but then so was her twin, and frankly, despite her new-found pride in this fresh career, the she-wolf had to relent that it was much more exciting to listen to the other side of herself - far greater interest... Oh. Well. This is going to turn out well, isn't it... Yes! It is! I am, like, so looking forward to it! It's gonna be, like, so totally awesome! Y'know, Gathering, and flowers and shells and all that stuff in my dreams... Oh, yeah! And I will totally be helping the pack, without stressing! This'll be, like, awesome to the extreme! Uh-huh. You just tell me how that turns out. Don't worry, I so totally will! On second thoughts, please don't... And the voice faded, to be replaced by the incessant droning of her Alpha as she instructed Rose Throne on the basics of gathering. Not bothering to spend the effort translating it all, the white-furred creature instead picked out a few choice words, and began to picture them dreamily in her mind... "Willing..." Yep, willing, that was her all right! Ready for action and so totally prepared to gather stuff for the pack! Whatever that stuff might be. "Instruct..." Awesome! Instructions - and hopefully real ones, like 'find tanzy' or 'find blue shells', not silly ones like the old wolf had given her before - 'go chase some rabbits'. "Gatherer..." Oh yeah! That was her all right - the best gatherer there ever ever was in the history of Royal Gatherers ever! "Medicines..." So she would be helping other wolves too, and healing them and stuff without needing to get her paws dirty; this was just getting better and better! "Natural..." Yes, a natural... That's what she would be.
And, without further thought, Rose Throne's face split even further into a grin that seemed too wide for her slim, pretty face, morphing her petite features into a mask of over-excited pleasure, and she shook herself out, wagging her entire body. The bushy tail that was one of her most treasured features was waving joyfully in the air in an act that was also unknowingly dominant of her, and the Omega-slash-Gatherer let out a joyful yip. Bounding once around her alpha like a pup half her age, the she-wolf started to leap off, prancing through the grasses the wrong way. "I am so totally gonna' be the best Gatherer ever in the whole history of best-gatherer-ness!" A long pause. "So... Which way back to camp?"
I just can't, I just can't, I just can't lose that beat! *&474!~Rose Throne

Moon had an odd feeling going through her mind that Rose Throne was not entirely focused on what she had just slowly said. She forced a gentle smile to her face as Rose Throne seemed to have come to a decision. And she was going to be the best gatherer ever. Wonderful. Moon wanted to roll her eyes, but it was the duty of any pack alpha to be polite to the other members of the pack. Moon shuffled her paws around for a moment, attempting to create an awkward noise for Rose Throne. Where was the camp? Really? Did Rose Throne have amnesia? Or did she just forget things to easily. Probably the second option. Because all the healers said Rose Throne was fine. Ha. Fine in her own Throney way. "A gatherer would trace her scent back to the camp if she got lost...But since you are...New...I think I will lead the way. Unless you wish to stay here. But then you would fin your way home." Moon said as politely as she could. A light smile came to her face yet again, for her lips were starting to droop into a large frown. She only did them the honor of lifting them.
