Okay, just some things here I might not have made clear elsewhere, so I'm going to type them up to stop any future mishaps, and clear up past ones =) Don't worry if you've had any problems with them, I guess I didn't make it clear at first - hopefully this will sort it out ^^
So, with all of this in mind, I hope you now have a deeper understanding of the Twins' connections, building a better Roleplay for all!
It has been quite hard for me to, in effect, create a whole new dimension, taking in every possibility and cause-and-effect problem, and I respect that it may be hard for you to get this all in, too. But don't worry, no-one's going to shout at you for getting a small thing wrong, or asking a question ^^

- They rarely come from the same pack. I see this a lot in bios, but they do not come from the same parents. It's a little complicated, but basically, the pups will all be born in pairs. If a Royal Mother gives birth, a Rebel or Loner Mother will also. The twins will be born by different mothers, lead opposite lives, though may meet eachother at some point.
- They are the same Gender. If one is a male, so is the other. Helps keep a balance, especially added to the 2:1 character-creation rule.
- Every other night they share a connection. I have changed this from every night for simplicity purposes, but the idea remains the same: every few nights(no pattern) they can hear eachothers' thoughts. Some ignore this, some have a friendly chat, most growl and complain to eachother about things.
- Spreading Twin Secrets = Insanity. Kill your twin or give away something they have told you in the above connection time, and you go insane. This is how packs do not learn eachothers' tactics,
though the Royals have been known to torture their own members in search of answers. - They must be opposites. You can't have two cheerful twins, nor two grumpy ones. One is the opposite, more or less, of the other. This includes luck, ranks, and of course, love. If one wolf gets promoted, the other gets demoted or stays the same. If they both go to court their preferred female on the same day, one will be rejected, the other accepted.
- Thus, those with Loner Twins are better off. Because there's no such thing as getting a better rank of Loner.
- They do, however, have free will. However, despite all of these obstacles, they still have free will and the ability to object to or accept any circumstances - it is very hard for them, however; they are basically going against fate and Nature itself in their world, so it's difficult and often painful along the way.
So, with all of this in mind, I hope you now have a deeper understanding of the Twins' connections, building a better Roleplay for all!
